Job summary

Malayan Flour Mills Berhad in Malaysia is seeking a hands-on professional to support and manage the production lines in our food manufacturing facility.

The role focuses on enforcing SOP, carrying out autonomous maintenance and sanitation, and collaborating with other departments to meet daily targets while upholding health, safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOP to control and manage production lines to meet daily targets.
• Enforce autonomous maintenance, repairs & maintenance, preventive maintenance & sanitation on machines to ensure optimum operation.
• Support respective parties/departments for scheduled maintenance or sanitation works.
• Promote the 5S culture within the department; measure results and guide employees on workplace organization and cleanliness.
• Enforce Health & Safety work procedures and provide necessary PPE to prevent accidents.
• Ensure documentation, regulations, and GMP/FSSC 22000 compliance to avoid disruption to the business.
• Monitor, review and ensure outputs are quality compliant and consistent to avoid customer complaints.
• Diligently record all production reports for timely, useful production data.
• Perform any other tasks as directed by management.

Job description

To follow SOP, control and manage the efficient running of the production lines to meet daily target as set by management.

To enforce autonomous maintenance, repairs & maintenance, preventive maintenance & sanitation on machines to ensure optimum operation.

To support respective parties/departments for scheduled maintenance or sanitation works.

To promote the 5S culture within the department. Measure results, correct and guide employees in the importance of work place organization and cleanliness.

To enforce Health & Safety work procedure and practices rules and are adhered to and where safety regulations requires; the necessary PPE issued to workers in order to prevent unforeseen accident.

To ensure documentations, regulations, legislative and other procedures are complying with FSSC 22000, Machinery Department, GMP, etc., requirements to ensure their continuous renewals and no disruption to the business.

To monitor, review and ensure all outputs are quality compliance and consistent so as to avoid customer complaint.

To diligently and accurately record all production reports in order to achieve timely and useful production data.

To perform any other tasks and assignments as directed by the management from time to time.
