Job summary

Mango Concept Industry in Malaysia invites ambitious interior design graduates or students to join as an internship recruit. You will collaborate with senior designers on space planning, mood boards, and 3D renderings, gaining hands-on industry exposure.

Ideal candidates are currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Diploma in Interior Design, with zero professional experience required and internship considered a plus.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Diploma in Interior Design or a related field.
• Zero years of professional experience required; internship experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar.
• Strong understanding of design principles, color theory, and space planning.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Keen eye for detail and a passion for furniture and interior design.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior designers with space planning and concept development.
• Prepare design presentations, including mood boards, material samples, and 3D renderings.
• Conduct site visits and assist with on-site coordination and supervision.
• Source and select furniture, fixtures, and materials according to project specifications.
• Maintain and organize design library and project documentation.
• Collaborate with the team on various design projects from concept to completion.
• Participate in client meetings and contribute to design discussions.
