Job summary

Exito Creation in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Senior Interior Designer with at least 2 years of hands-on experience. You will create and refine interior layouts, select materials and coordinate with suppliers, ensuring designs meet client goals and timelines.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply and a Mandarin speaker is an added advantage. The ideal candidate demonstrates good attitude, willingness to learn, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• AutoCAD, Sketchup, 3Ds Max or equivalent 3D software required.
• Senior Interior Designer requires at least 2 years of experience.
• Mandarin speakers are an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Will express talents and ideas to build a strong interior design portfolio.
• Draft and revise floor plans and new layouts.
• Basic knowledge of interior design essentials is required.
• Determine client goals and project requirements.
• Sketch preliminary designs, including electrical layouts.
• Specify materials and furnishings (lighting, furniture, finishes).
• Draft designs that meet client and company needs, aligning marketing, sales and manufacturing needs.
• Prepare final plans using computer software.
• Create, model and produce design prototypes.
• Develop a project timeline and estimate costs.
• Place orders for materials and supervise installation of design elements.
• Visit sites after project completion to ensure client satisfaction.
