Job summary

Jora Malaysia is offering an internship for diploma-holders or recent graduates in Interior Design. The role supports senior designers with space planning, mood boards, and 3D renderings, including site visits and on-site coordination.

You will help source furniture and materials while maintaining project documentation and contributing to client meetings. Ideal candidates show strong design sense, color theory knowledge, and excellent communication skills, with the ability to work both

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Diploma in Interior Design or a related field.
• Zero years of professional experience required; internship experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar.
• Strong understanding of design principles, color theory, and space planning.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Keen eye for detail and a passion for furniture and interior design.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior designers with space planning and concept development.
• Prepare design presentations, including mood boards, material samples, and 3D renderings.
• Conduct site visits and assist with on-site coordination and supervision.
• Source and select furniture, fixtures, and materials according to project specifications.
• Maintain and organize design library and project documentation.
• Collaborate with the team on various design projects from concept to completion.
• Participate in client meetings and contribute to design discussions.
