Emergence Innovative Sdn Bhd is seeking a motivated Electrical Engineering Intern to support site planning, project execution, regulatory permitting, and technical documentation for residential and commercial projects.

You will assist in on-site surveys, load calculations, and drafting SLDs, review CAD layouts, and compile documentation for utility applications and ST EVCS licensing. The role offers hands-on exposure under supervision to learn regulatory workflows.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• Basic knowledge of single-phase and three-phase LV systems.
• Familiar with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; good communication.
• Must have internship endorsement letter (3–6 months).

Responsabilités

Internship for Electrical Engineer (EV Charging)

We are looking for a motivated Electrical Engineering Intern to join our team in supporting site planning, project execution, regulatory permitting, and technical documentation for residential and commercial projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assist project engineers with on-site technical surveys, maximum demand (load) calculations, and cable pathway routing for new installations.
• Assist in drafting single-line diagrams (SLDs), reviewing CAD layouts, and organizing Borang G/H completion and testing certificates.
• Assist in preparing and compiling documentation for utility applications and regulatory submissions to Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST EVCS licensing) and local councils.
• Support basic pre-commissioning safety tests and functional equipment checks under engineering supervision.

Requirements

• Candidate currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of single-phase and three-phase low-voltage electrical systems.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, or basic electrical schematic drafting.
• Good communication skills and eagerness to learn site coordination and regulatory submission workflows.
• Must possess an official university/college internship endorsement letter (minimum 3–6 months duration).
