Zusammenfassung

Randstad Malaysia is seeking an Electrical Engineering professional to design and coordinate M&E building services for diverse projects in Malaysia. You will handle HT/LV power, lighting, ELV systems, and ensure compliance with local standards.

Responsibilities include load calculations, SLDs, tender docs, and site supervision up to testing and commissioning. Fresh graduates with 1–5 years' experience are welcome to apply.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates welcome; 1–5 years of relevant M&E engineering design and project management experience advantageous.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and electrical calculation tools; Revit/BIM knowledge is a plus.
• Registration with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) as a Graduate Engineer preferred.
• Mature, proactive, good interpersonal skills at all levels.

Aufgaben

• System design and coordination of electrical building services (HT/LV power, lighting, standby systems, lightning protection).
• Plan and design ELV systems (PA, CCTV, access control, fire alarm, telecom).
• Prepare electrical load calculations, voltage drop analysis, SLDs and tender docs.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers and clients for routing and spatial planning.
• Coordinate authority submissions and comply with MS IEC standards and local regulations.
• Supervise installation works, attend site meetings, review contractor submissions, and oversee testing and commissioning.

• System Design: Design and coordinate electrical building services, including HT/LV power distribution, lighting design, standby power systems, and lightning protection systems.
• ELV Systems: Plan and design Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems such as public address (PA), CCTV, access control, fire alarm, and telecommunication systems.
• Engineering Documentation: Prepare electrical load calculations, voltage drop analysis, single-line diagrams (SLDs), technical specifications, and tender documents.
• Project Coordination: Liaise with architects, structural engineers, and clients to ensure optimal spatial planning and routing for electrical infrastructure.
• Authority Compliance: Coordinate and submit applications to relevant authorities (e.g., Suruhanjaya Tenaga, TNB, Telekom Malaysia) and ensure compliance with MS IEC standards and local regulations.
• Site & Project Management: Supervise electrical installation works, attend site meetings, review contractor submissions, and oversee testing and commissioning (T&C) activities.

about you

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience: Fresh graduates are welcomed; 1–5 years of relevant experience in M&E engineering design and project management will be an advantage.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD and electrical calculation tools. Knowledge in Revit/BIM is an added advantage.
• Certifications: Registration with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) as a Graduate Engineer is highly preferred.
• Attributes: Mature personality, proactive, and capable of making sound technical decisions. Good interpersonal skills to interact well at all levels.
