Job summary

Themetech International (M) Sdn Bhd invites an Electrical Engineering Intern to support Engineering Services operations on real-world electrical projects. You will assist engineers in project coordination, system design support, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and documentation.

This internship offers hands-on exposure, site visits when required, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver quality electrical solutions while developing professional skills in design tools

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and engineering principles.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; familiarity with AutoCAD/EPLAN is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers in electrical engineering projects and daily operations.
• Support electrical system design, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, and project records.
• Assist in monitoring project progress and coordinating with internal teams and contractors.

Seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to support Engineering Services operations, providing hands-on experience in electrical project coordination, system design support, technical documentation, testing and commissioning, troubleshooting, and collaboration with cross-functional teams on real-world engineering projects.

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist engineers in electrical engineering projects and daily operations.
• Support electrical system design, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, and project records.
• Assist in monitoring project progress and coordinating with internal teams and contractors.
• Participate in site visits, inspections, and equipment testing when required.
• Ensure documentation is accurate and complies with company standards.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Engineering team.

Job Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and engineering principles.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, EPLAN, or other electrical design software is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Meticulous, proactive, responsible, and eager to learn.
