Job summary

Zura Charge Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an Electrical Engineer (Fresh Graduate) to join our fast-growing EV charging solutions team. You will assist in design, lay out charging systems, perform site surveys, and support installation and testing across residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

You will work closely with senior engineers, learn from mentors, and gain hands-on experience on real EV charging deployments while growing with a dynamic, startup-like environment that values

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of electrical distribution, circuit protection, and wiring.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or electrical design software.
• Interest in renewable energy, sustainability, and EV charging solutions.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Willing to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and layout of EV charging systems and schematics.
• Support site surveys, load analysis, and cable sizing.
• Prepare and review SLDs, technical drawings, and project docs.
• Monitor installation progress and assist in quality control at sites.
• Collaborate with contractors and project teams for safe installation.
• Provide technical support for testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Support proposals, reports, and client presentations.
• Stay updated on EV charging technologies and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and layout of EV charging systems and electrical schematics.
• Support site surveys, load analysis, and cable sizing calculations.
• Prepare and review single-line diagrams (SLD), technical drawings, and project documentation.
• Monitor installation progress and assist in quality control at project sites.
• Work closely with contractors, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure safe and efficient installation.
• Provide technical support for testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of EV chargers.
• Learn and support installation standards
• Support the technical team in preparing proposals, project reports, and client presentations.
• Continuously learn and stay updated on EV charging technologies and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
• Basic knowledge of electrical distribution systems, circuit protection, and wiring.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, electrical design software, or similar tools (added advantage).
• Strong interest in renewable energy, sustainability, and electric vehicle charging solutions.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Willing to travel to project sites when required.
