Randstad Malaysia is seeking a motivated electrical engineering professional to join our M&E team in Kuala Lumpur. You will design and coordinate electrical building services, including HT/LV distribution, lighting, standby power, and protections, while coordinating ELV systems like PA, CCTV, and access control.

The role involves preparing load calculations, SLDs, specs, and tender documents, liaising with architects and clients, ensuring authority compliance, and supervising site activities

Qualifikationen

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 1–5 years of relevant experience in M&E engineering design and project management is advantageous.
• BEM Graduate Engineer registration is preferred.

• System Design: Design and coordinate electrical building services, including HT/LV power distribution, lighting design, standby power systems, and lightning protection systems.
• ELV Systems: Plan and design Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems such as public address (PA), CCTV, access control, fire alarm, and telecommunication systems.
• Engineering Documentation: Prepare electrical load calculations, voltage drop analysis, single-line diagrams (SLDs), technical specifications, and tender documents.
• Project Coordination: Liaise with architects, structural engineers, and clients to ensure optimal spatial planning and routing for electrical infrastructure.
• Authority Compliance: Coordinate and submit applications to relevant authorities (e.g., Suruhanjaya Tenaga, TNB, Telekom Malaysia) and ensure compliance with MS IEC standards and local regulations.
• Site & Project Management: Supervise electrical installation works, attend site meetings, review contractor submissions, and oversee testing and commissioning (T&C) activities.

about you

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience: Fresh graduates are welcomed; 1–5 years of relevant experience in M&E engineering design and project management will be an advantage.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD and electrical calculation tools. Knowledge in Revit/BIM is an added advantage.
• Certifications: Registration with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) as a Graduate Engineer is highly preferred.
• Attributes: Mature personality, proactive, and capable of making sound technical decisions. Good interpersonal skills to interact well at all levels.
