Job summary

Themetech International (M) Sdn Bhd invites interns to join its Engineering Services team. You will gain hands-on exposure to engineering project coordination, technical documentation, and cross-functional collaboration while supporting project engineers and participating in site visits.

You will help with project records, reports, and documents, and develop skills through real project ownership under supervision.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Manufacturing, Mechatronics Engineering or related discipline.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of AutoCAD or other engineering software is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Engineers in coordinating and monitoring engineering projects.
• Support the preparation of project documentation, reports, and presentations.
• Maintain project records, schedules, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with internal departments, contractors, suppliers, and clients as required.
• Assist in preparing engineering drawings, specifications, and project-related documents.
• Participate in site visits, inspections, and progress meetings when necessary.
• Monitor project progress and report updates to the project team.
• Ensure project documentation is complete and properly maintained.
• Perform other duties and special projects assigned by the supervisor.

• Support engineers: coordinate tasks, update docs, join site visits and inspections.

Internship position supporting Engineering Services operations to gain hands-on experience in engineering project coordination, technical documentation, project planning, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. The role involves assisting project engineers, participating in site visits and inspections, and maintaining project records and documentation under supervision.
