Job summary

ECO Group of Companies – Puchong New Village is seeking a Site Supervision Intern to assist in creating technical/construction drawings, coordinate with suppliers, and support site activities across interior design projects. Outstation travel required.

You will gain hands-on experience in furniture detailing, space planning, tender submissions, and client presentations, with collaboration across internal teams such as QS and Project Teams.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of space planning, furniture design, and interior fit-out works.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D rendering software, and Microsoft Office.
• Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Creative, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel and work on-site as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing full sets of construction drawing, shop drawing, and technical drawings upon project award.
• Support liaison with suppliers for material submission and confirmation.
• Help develop technical and construction details for furniture for factory production.
• Participate in conducting site measurements.
• Support and attend site meetings and inspections throughout the project lifecycle.
• Learn to present design concepts to clients.
• Assist in preparing tender submission drawings in compliance with requirements.
• Help monitor project progress from inception to completion within deadlines.
• Gain experience advising on space planning and design concepts for clients.
• Collaborate with QS and Project Teams.
• Assist in client communication and participate in brainstorming sessions.
• Willingness to be stationed at outstation locations as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Outstation travel required.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing full sets of construction drawing, shop drawing, and technical drawings upon project award.
• Support liaison with suppliers for material submission and confirmation.
• Help develop technical and construction details for both loose and fixed furniture for factory production.
• Participate in conducting accurate site measurements.
• Support and attend site meetings and inspections throughout the project lifecycle.
• Learn to understand and interpret interior design concepts to effectively present ideas to clients.
• Assist in preparing tender submission drawings in compliance with requirements.
• Help monitor project progress from inception, planning, designing, tendering, construction until completion within deadlines.
• Gain experience providing advice on space planning, design conceptualization, and effectively communicate drawing concepts to clients.
• Collaborate with internal departments such as QS and Project Teams.
• Assist in client communication and participate in brainstorming sessions.
• Willingness to be stationed at outstation locations as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Job Requirements
