Job summary

ZXL Design & Technology Sdn Bhd is seeking a hands-on ID Site Supervisor to run interior fit-out projects from start to handover across commercial F&B, retail, and high-end residential in Klang Valley.

You will lead site teams, coordinate with subcontractors, read architectural and interior drawings, manage programme and quality, enforce safety, and maintain site records to ensure timely delivery of high-quality finishes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years as Site Supervisor / Site Coordinator for interior design fit-outs and renovations.
• Solid knowledge of ID construction methods, materials, and detailing.
• Able to read architectural and ID drawings fluently and manage site realities.
• Strong leadership and communication skills dealing with workers, clients, and consultants.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate site teams and subcontractors for interior fit-out works (joinery, finishes, ceiling, flooring, MEP coordination with ID).
• Control program, quality, and site progress daily, aiming for on-time delivery with high finishes.
• Identify and solve detailing / construction issues on-site to avoid delays.
• Liaise with clients, designers, and consultants on site matters and variations.
• Enforce site safety, housekeeping, and protection of completed works.
• Keep site records, progress photos, and reports for the project team.

What you’ll actually do

• Lead and coordinate site teams and subcontractors for interior fit-out works (joinery, finishes, ceiling, flooring, MEP coordination with ID).
• Control programme, quality, and site progress daily — push for on-time delivery without compromising finishes.
• Spot and solve detailing / construction issues on the ground before they become costly delays.
• Liaise directly with clients, designers, and consultants on site matters and variations.
• Enforce site safety, housekeeping, and protection of completed works.
• Keep proper site records, progress photos, and reports for the project team.

What you need

• Minimum 3 years solid experience as Site Supervisor / Site Coordinator focused on interior design fit-outs and renovations (not pure civil or structural).
• Strong practical knowledge of ID construction methods, materials, and detailing.
• Able to read architectural and ID drawings fluently and manage site realities.
• Good leadership and communication skills — you deal with workers, clients, and consultants every day.
• Own transport and willing to move around Klang Valley sites.
• Diploma or Degree in Interior Architecture, Architecture, Construction Management or related field is an advantage (experience matters more).
