Job summary

Fuciphagus Agritech Sdn Bhd (FASB) invites a Marketing/Finance Intern to support financial transactions, data entry, and administrative tasks at our Penang (Malaysia) site. The role involves processing payments, invoices, receipts, and petty cash while ensuring accurate records and regulatory compliance.

The intern will work with SQL accounting software, assist with reporting, and gain mentorship from experienced finance professionals in a GMP/HACCP environment; local market exposure in Penang.

Responsibilities

• Process payment, invoices, receipts, and petty cash; match sales with incoming funds.
• Enter financial/admin data into SQL accounting software; keep records up to date.
• Communicate with internal teams and external contacts to gather information and provide support.
• Prepare and maintain spreadsheets and documents; ensure accuracy and completeness of information.
• Ensure compliance with regulations; maintain confidentiality; help with filing/record-keeping.
• Undertake ad-hoc tasks and support day-to-day administrative work.
• Maintain Fixed Asset Register; asset tagging, verification counts, depreciation schedules, disposal docs.

Job description

Financial Transactions - Process payment, invoices, receipts, and petty cash. Matching sales transaction with incoming fund.

Data Entry and Bookkeeping - Enter financial and administrative data into SQL accounting software and databases. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions, expenses, and invoices.

Communication - Communicate with internal teams and external (if needed) to gather information, resolve queries, and provide support.

Documentation and Reporting - Prepare and maintain various spreadsheets and documents and compilation. Ensure accuracy and completeness of information.

Compliance and Record-Keeping - Ensure compliance with relevant administrative and financial regulations and guidelines. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. Keep track of important deadlines and assist with filing and record-keeping.

Administrative Support - Undertake any ad-hoc tasks assigned by superior and assist with day-to-day administrative tasks.

Fixed Asset Management — Maintain the Fixed Asset Register (FAR), assist with asset tagging, physical verification counts, depreciation schedules, and disposal documentation.

FASB is one of the BioNexus status company in Malaysia, which had been utilizing biotechnology element in processing process. We also involve a lot of R&D study which to develop better quality products and expand to downstream products development.
