Job summary

Holiday Tours & Travel Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Intern – Cruise to assist the Cruise team with daily sales coordination and operational tasks. You will gain hands-on exposure to cruise bookings, customer service, and travel documentation.

This internship offers an opportunity to learn quotation preparation, voyage arrangements, visa checks, and event participation like MAS Travel Fair and MATTA Fair under supervision.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Diploma/Degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or a related field.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic knowledge of the travel industry is an added advantage.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage tasks effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Willing to learn, take on new challenges, and work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing cruise quotations and proposals.
• Support the sales team in coordinating cruise bookings, accommodations, transportation, and related travel arrangements.
• Liaise with cruise lines, travel agents, and service providers to secure reservations and confirm booking details.
• Assist in monitoring itineraries and ensuring accuracy of travel documentation.
• Support daily travel management tasks and respond to customer enquiries under supervision.
• Assist in checking visa requirements and supporting visa application documentation.
• Help handle booking amendments, refund requests, and ensure reservation details are recorded.
• Support follow-up on payments and ensure compliance with company terms and conditions.
• Engage in events such as MAS Travel Fair, MATTA Fair, and exclusive Travel Talks as needed.
• Safeguard and not disclose customer details and the company's confidential information.
• Perform any other duties at the discretion of the company.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
