Job summary

Holiday Tours & Travel Sdn Bhd is seeking an Intern – Cruise to support the Cruise team with daily sales coordination and operational tasks. You will gain hands-on exposure to cruise bookings, customer service, and travel documentation.

Responsibilities include preparing quotations, coordinating bookings, and liaising with cruise lines and agents, while ensuring accurate itineraries and compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing Diploma/Degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or related field.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Willing to learn and work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing cruise quotations and proposals.
• Support the sales team in coordinating cruise bookings, accommodations, transportation, and related travel arrangements.
• Liaise with cruise lines, travel agents, and service providers to secure reservations and confirm booking details.
• Assist in monitoring itineraries and ensuring accuracy of travel documentation.
• Support daily travel management tasks and respond to customer enquiries (calls and emails) under supervision.
• Assist in checking visa requirements and supporting visa application documentation.
• Help handle booking amendments, refund requests, and ensure reservation details are accurately recorded.
• Support follow-up on payments and ensure compliance with company terms and conditions.
• Engage in events such as MAS Travel Fair, MATTA Fair, and exclusive Travel Talks as needed.
• Safeguard and not disclose customer (personal and organization) details and the company’s confidential information.
• Perform any other duties at the discretion of the company.
