Job summary

Malayan Flour Mills Berhad in Malaysia is seeking an HR Assistant to assist in recruitment, onboarding, and HR administration. The role involves posting job openings, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, and supporting orientation sessions for new hires.

You will also help monitor attendance, coordinate with Immigration Ipoh, and assist with FOMEMA medical checks and WP copies as part of HR operations. The position requires effective communication and collaboration with the HR team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with HR team to handle employee queries and engagement activities.
• Assist with immigration-related tasks (Ipoh), FOMEMA medical checkups, and WP copies.

Job description

Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and scheduling interviews.

Support the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing orientation materials and conducting orientation sessions.

Compensation and Benefits:

Assist in checking overtime of local staff and foreign worker.

Assist in organizing and filing HR-related documentation.

Employee Relations:

Collaborate with HR team members to address employee queries and concerns.

Participate in employee engagement initiatives and events.

HR Policies and Procedures:

Learn and understand company HR policies and procedures.

Assist in communicating and enforcing HR policies.

Time and Attendance:

Assist in monitoring and verifying employee time and attendance records.

Address discrepancies and collaborate with relevant departments to ensure accuracy.

Assist in preparation of document to Immigration Ipoh.

Assist in preparing consent letter and compiling the result.

Assist in scheduling for FOMEMA medical checkup and liaise with clinic.

Assist in preparing PP & WP copy for distribute to all foreign worker.

Additional:

Perform any other tasks or assignments as directed by the Management from time to time.
