Job summary

DUO V STUDIO SDN. BHD. in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia is seeking an Interior Designer to translate client briefs into creative concepts and build detailed 2D/3D drawings for projects.

Applicants should hold a Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma or degree in Interior Design or Architecture, with proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D Studio Max, Photoshop and Illustrator. 2+ years in construction is preferred, fresh graduates are welcome.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in interior design or architecture.
• Minimum 2 years in construction; interior design experience is a plus.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Develop and produce creative concepts and innovative ideas that meet the clients' objectives.
• Undertake design projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality work.
• Collaborate with Commercial clients to understand their brand, marketing initiatives, and design requirements, translating these into a cohesive design concept.
• Regularly monitor and report on site work progress, maintaining effective communication with clients, contractors, and team members for smooth project execution.
• Research and decide on materials and sourcing, considering budget, aesthetics, and functionality.
• Collaborate with vendors to gather samples, create boards, and make informed selections based on project requirements.
• Create and develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings and layouts using industry-standard design software.
• Oversee on-site execution of design concepts, ensuring alignment with project specifications and client expectations.

Job description

Possess at least a Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma/Bachelor's Degree/Post-Graduate Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture.

Required skills: AUTOCAD, 3D-Studio Max, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.

Minimum 2 years of working experience in construction field, the experience of interior design will have added advantage. Fresh graduated welcome to apply too.

Able to work as part of a team and independently to meet datelines.
