Job summary

Zurich Life Insurance Malaysia Berhad is seeking a seasoned Tech Business Analyst to support building a new end-to-end Digital Native Insurance Platform for the Asia Pacific region, with a focus on automation and straight-through processing across the insurance value chain.

The role involves engaging with business stakeholders, documenting requirements, analyzing gaps, and collaborating with IT vendors and delivery teams to ensure pragmatic project delivery.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Insurance.
• Experience with SQL and data/documentation for product data (quotations, policies, claims).
• Experience with Agile delivery and IT project delivery.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to understand business requirements in detail.

Responsibilities

• Engage with business stakeholders on product & process requirements.
• Analyze requirements and identify gaps in input.
• Identify opportunities to automate and simplify business processes.
• Document product data required to create new products (quotations, policies, claims).
• Document business rules to enable processes and rules-based automation.
• Configure products, processes, and business rules in the system (training provided).
• Work with IT vendors, partners, and internal delivery teams to ensure pragmatic project delivery.
