Prudential Assurance Malaysia Berhad in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Claims Support professional to assist the claims team in processing and deciding on claims according to policy terms. The role requires knowledge of insurance principles and strong IT and office skills.

Fresh graduates are welcome; experienced candidates with 3–5 years of claims handling are an advantage. Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia, plus the ability to work in shifts, are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Science, Biology, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Candidates with 3–5 years of claims handling experience in the insurance industry have an advantage.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Basic knowledge of insurance principles and practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general IT systems.
• Willing and able to work on a shift basis.

Responsabilidades

• Assess claims fairly and make decisions according to policy terms and conditions.
• Approve claims within department benchmarks, turnaround time, and authority limit.
• Recommend claims for approval or repudiation when required.
• Attend to customer enquiries from all referral sources promptly.
• Monitor claims processing benchmarks and turnaround time.
• Handle daily department correspondence and coordinate with other departments.
• Handle enquiries from internal and external parties via email.
• Support outbound calls to customers and agents for declined claims.
• Liaise with IT division to troubleshoot operational system issues.
• Review, update, and document administrative rules and processes.
• Attend training for personal and career development.
• Undertake projects or other duties assigned by management.
