Job Description

Our client is a manufacturing multinational and they are looking for an Inside Sales Representative for Region East. The role plays a vital role in supporting the commercial operations across the Region East. Based in the RHQ in Kuala Lumpur, this person will provide daily support to the Outside Sales Representatives (OSRs) —ensuring timely quotations, accurate CRM updates, and efficient processing of customer requests — always with a strong sense of urgency, customer centricity, and proactivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and issue accurate quotations based on customer requirements, price lists, and margin guidelines.
• Revise and update quotations upon request, ensuring all commercial and technical details are properly aligned.
• Process web-based inquiries, RFQs, and incoming requests from multiple regional channels.
• Coordinate with logistics, technical support, and finance teams to ensure smooth order execution.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate data in SAP C4C, including opportunities, quotations, and customer interactions.
• Support pipeline management and reporting by ensuring all sales activities are properly documented.
• Assist OSRs in following up on open quotations, customer feedback, and pending actions.
• Serve as the first point of contact for incoming inquiries, ensuring professional and prompt responses.
• Provide customers with order status updates, lead times, and documentation when required.
• Work closely with OSRs and the BU teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Contribute to a collaborative, solution-oriented regional sales culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or commercial support, preferably in a B2B technical environment.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a high sense of urgency and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and ERP tools.
• Fluent in English; additional regional language(s) are a plus (e.g. Thai, Mandarin)
