Job summary

KPJ Sabah Specialist Hospital is seeking a Billing & Discharge Clerk to manage inpatient billing, financial clearance, and patient discharge in line with SOPs and PDPA.

You will verify charges, finalize bills, coordinate GL/FGL/LOU with insurers, and work with multiple departments to ensure timely discharges and accurate documentation.

Good English and Bahasa Malaysia communication and 1-2 years’ experience are preferred; shift flexibility and customer service mindset are valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: SPM/STPM.
• 1–2 years working experience preferred.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Verify and finalize inpatient bills and ensure accuracy.
• Coordinate GL/FGL/LOU with insurers and TPAs.
• Process billing adjustments, refunds, CN/DN where required.
• Maintain accurate billing records and ensure PDPA compliance.
• Support continuous process improvement in discharge turnaround.
