Job summary

HCLTech in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is seeking a senior project manager with 6+ years of experience in IT infrastructure to lead complex, long-duration programs. You will manage the project from initiation to completion, build schedules, and coordinate resources and budgets while addressing escalated issues.

Ideal candidates have hands-on Excel and PowerPoint skills, and PMP/CSM certifications are preferred. Weekend availability may be required for maintenance or migration activities.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of project management experience in IT infra and related industries.
• End-to-end PM of medium to complex IT infra projects (>6 months).
• Creation of project schedules with financial, resource and material planning.
• Hands-on experience in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to work weekends for maintenance or migrations.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project delivery from initiation to completion.
• Resolve escalated project issues and risks.
• Coordinate schedules, resources, and budgets for IT infra initiatives.

Job description

• 6+ years of project management experience in comparable industries:
• Experience in managing IT Infra projects
• Experience in end-to-end project management of medium & complex projects
• spanning for more than 6 months
• Handled tracks/ work+H17:T17streams/ projects independently as part of large programs/
• Managed the project from start to completion including the resolution of escalated
• project issues
• Creation of a project schedule and plan with financial, resource and material
• requirements
• Hands‑on experience in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
• Ability to work during weekends if required (for maintenance/ migration activities,

Preferred Skills

• Telcom/ Service Provider Infrastructure experience is preferred
• Technical knowledge on Cisco hardware and software
• Experience in contract Change Management process
• Experience in managing Partner delivery and commercials when 3rd party technical delivery resources are engaged
• Hands‑on experience in Microsoft Project, Jira / Rally

Education & Additional Certifications

• Certifications: PMP Preferred (not mandatory), CSM Preferred (not mandatory)
