Job summary

Iktisas NMS Sdn Bhd is seeking a civil engineer with 3–10 years of infrastructure experience to lead project work on site in Malaysia. You will organize project activities, coordinate with subcontractors, and manage design reviews, scheduling changes, and cost/time/quality reporting.

Ownership of reports and ability to work independently are required. Candidate must have a valid driver’s license and own transport to support outstation assignments as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field is required.
• 3–10 years of experience in infrastructure projects.
• Ability to prepare monthly progress reports and QAQC reports.
• Ability to allocate priorities to meet tight deadlines and work independently.
• Self-motivated and able to work in a team-based environment with minimum supervision.
• Possess own transportation and willingness to work outstation when needed.

Responsibilities

• Complete engineering projects by organizing and controlling.
• Coordinate all site activities with relevant parties and monitor all sub-contractor works.
• Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications and plan, scheduling changes and recommending actions.
• Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other participants to provide assistance and technical support.
• Report to the management, all cost, time and quality related matters.
• Create and monitor project work schedule works.
