Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a Site Engineer to manage and monitor construction projects, ensuring compliance with drawings, method statements and specifications. You will coordinate with clients, consultants and sub-contractors on site and uphold QA/QC procedures.

The role requires a degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent, 3-5 years of site experience, and strong communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Qualifications

Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent.
Minimum 3-5 years of site and QA/QC experience, preferably in infrastructure projects.
Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; knowledge of MS Project/Primavera 6 is an added advantage.
Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
Willing to base at project site and travel as required.

Responsibilities

Manage and monitor construction projects, including engineering and technical requirements.
Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, method statements, contract requirements and specifications.
Coordinate with client, consultant and sub-contractor on site related and technical matters.
Conduct quality inspections and ensure compliance with project QA/QC procedures and requirements.
Review and monitor sub-contractors' work progress and implement recovery plans if behind schedule.
Identify, record and follow up on non-conformance issues and corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with site safety, health and environmental requirements.
Prepare progress reports and maintain proper site and QA/QC records.
