Job summary

ASMPT Malaysia seeks an IT Support Specialist to provide frontline end-user support for PCs, printers, Microsoft 365, and basic account issues, while assisting with onboarding for local users in Pasir Gudang.

You will also support LAN/WAN, vSAN infrastructure, and IT asset lifecycle processes, maintain documentation, and coordinate with regional teams to balance urgent requests with network troubleshooting and security procedures.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related discipline.
2–4 years of hands-on IT support, desktop support, service desk, or network support experience.
Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows endpoints, Microsoft 365, printers and basic applications.
Good understanding of network concepts (LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, VLAN) and VPN basics.

Responsibilities

End-User Support: provide first-line support for PCs, printers, and account issues.
Network and vSAN Infrastructure Support: Level 2 troubleshooting and incident coordination.
IT Operations and Asset Support: deployment, inventory updates, onboarding/offboarding.
Documentation and Compliance: maintain records and follow security procedures.
Balance urgent requests with network priorities across regional teams.
