The ideal candidate should have a degree in IT and a minimum of 3 years in network troubleshooting, with experience in Linux and Windows environments. Candidates with cloud knowledge will have an advantage.

JOB SUMMARY

The Infrastructure Engineer will design, build, and maintain the foundational computing platform, network architecture, and on-premise server or cloud environments that power our applications. This role focuses on infrastructure support with knowledge on DevOps, high availability, system scalability, network and security to ensure zero-downtime operations for development and production teams. Required to work on Support Schedule based on the Operation hours of the System Uptime and Service Availability SLA.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• To provide various support IT server and delivery infrastructure and cloud.
• To perform and monitor systems backup and perform housekeeping of infrastructure, storage and network devices.
• To ensure all issues are acknowledged, responded and solutions provided to users within the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA).
• Provide IT support during the company’s internal and external major events.
• Prepare user access, patch management and release management on a quarterly basis for IT Management review.
• Keep track of the current IT asset/inventory, IP networking listing, firewall settings, email address listing, IT resource and application access.
• Engage with stakeholders to ensure smooth deployment of critical project tasks.
• Work with vendor teams to identify and document IT infrastructure posture and configurations.
• Be knowledgeable with monitoring dashboard tools in the monitoring data center, systems and network performance.
• Assist and provide feedback on cyber security activity, and to participate in audit investigations.
• Provide continuous improvement on Infrastructure and Network support and services.
• Participate in DR and BCP simulations including infrastructure, networks readiness and checklist.
• Periodically review and update IT-related policy and procedure.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Professional Certificate / Diploma / Degree in Information Technology.
• Minimum 3 years and above relevant working experience in network and server troubleshooting/ support. Experience in the financial services industry is an added advantage.
• For senior position, at least 3 years’ experience in supervising or team lead capacity with teams supporting Infrastructure and Networks.
• Knowledgeable and experienced in Linux OS (RedHat), Windows Server OS, Server Virtualization, Storage and Networking devices such as Active Directory (AD), Firewall, Load Balancer, Packet Shaper, switches, TCP/IP, DNS and Files Services.
• Knowledge on Alicloud, AWS, MS Azure Cloud or Google Cloud be of added advantage.
• Administration knowledge of Microsoft Server and Windows platforms, Managing Network Security / Troubleshooting.
• Familiar with network, server operations and regulatory compliance guidelines and requirements such as SC TRM, BNM RMIT.
• Certified with ITIL based experience in Incident, Problem, Change and configuration management would be an added advantage.
• Strong team player with the ability to work in a team and as an individual contributor.
• Self-starter with a positive work attitude and be able to work independently.
• Fast learner and self-motivated to learn new technologies.
• Able to work on shifts and with minimum supervision.
