Job summary
Axiom in Penang, Malaysia is seeking an Industrial Engineering Manager to drive productivity by optimizing methods, workforce utilization and production planning across the high-technology electronics sector.
You will coordinate NPI process planning, analyze data, and lead Lean, Automation and Six Sigma initiatives to deliver cost savings and throughput improvements.
Bachelor’s degree with 5 years in engineering required; experience with REFA, MOST and WITNESS is a plus.
Qualifications
- Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in a related field, technical training, or equivalent education and training.
- Typically requires 5 years of experience in engineering in the high technology electronics industry or related area.
Responsibilities
- Simulates process, materials and manufacturing workflow and inputs to process engineers.
- Coordinates process planning and setup with respect to takt, cycle time and direct labor requirements.
- Reviews results during prototyping and trial runs and feeds back to NPI and sales teams.
- Analyzes workforce utilization, facility layout, and production data to improve efficiency.
- Leads Lean, Automation and Six Sigma initiatives to increase throughput and reduce costs.
