Flex in Penang is seeking an Industrial Engineering Manager to optimize production processes and labor efficiency. The role focuses on improving throughput, reducing waste, and coordinating NPI process planning with engineering and sales teams.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a related field and about 5 years of engineering experience in high-tech electronics, with experience leading LEAN, automation, and Six Sigma initiatives. This is a full-time on-site role in Prai, Penang.

Responsibilities

• Simulates process, materials and workflow and advises process engineers using REFA, MOST, WITNESS, or similar tools.

• Reviews prototyping results and provides feedback to NPI and sales teams.
• Analyzes workforce utilization, facility layout, and production data to optimize resource use.
• Recommends methods to improve worker efficiency and reduce waste of materials and utilities.
• Leads management discussions to implement plans for cost analysis, financial planning, wage and salary administration, and job evaluation.
