Job summary
Flextronics - The Flex Company in Penang is seeking a Senior Industrial Engineer to boost productivity by optimizing processes, layouts, and methods. You will simulate workflows using REFA, MOST, and WITNESS, and coordinate with NPI to meet takt times and labor needs.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent.
- Typically requires 5 years of engineering experience in high-technology electronics.
- Experience with LEAN, Six Sigma, and cost analysis is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Simulates processes, materials, and workflow to optimize production.
- Coordinates process planning with NPI teams for takt, cycle time and direct labor.
- Analyzes workforce utilization, facility layout and production schedules to improve efficiency.
- Leads cost-reduction initiatives and implements improvements to reduce waste.
- Confers with management to implement plans and manage production controls.
