Job summary
Controller Area Network Solutions (M) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an Industrial System Engineer to design, implement, and maintain industrial automation and embedded systems on-site in Puchong.
You will analyze customer requirements, develop architectures, configure hardware and software for Industry 4.0 and IoT readiness, troubleshoot issues, and support internal and external teams while documenting designs and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong systems engineering and design skills for industrial/embedded solutions.
- Experience with PLCs, SCADA and Industry 4.0 IoT protocols.
- Ability to troubleshoot, perform root cause analysis and provide technical support.
- On-site collaboration with multidisciplinary teams in Malaysia.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement and maintain industrial automation and embedded systems.
- Analyze customer requirements and develop system architectures.
- Configure hardware/software components for IoT-ready standards.
- Troubleshoot, support internal teams and customers.
- Document designs, participate in project planning and testing.
- Provide occasional customer training.
