Job summary

LINCSTECH CIRCUIT MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. is seeking an Automation Engineer (System Integration Engineer) to support deployment, integration, maintenance and troubleshooting of IoT devices, industrial automation systems, and smart manufacturing applications.

The role involves on-site integration, data collection and coordination with R&D teams across locations. proficiency in Python, PLCs (Mitsubishi/Omron), and Mandarin communication are essential, with strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in Mandarin for technical communication with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and R&D teams.
• Proficient in Python programming.
• Knowledge of PLC systems, particularly Mitsubishi or Omron.
• Familiar with HMI integration and industrial communication protocols such as TCP/IP, RS-232 and RS-485.
• Familiar with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Basic knowledge of MySQL databases.
• Understanding of SCADA systems, preferably Advantech WebAccess.
• Familiar with remote access tools, GitHub and AI productivity tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test and maintain IoT devices, PLCs and industrial communication equipment.
• Perform on-site system integration, data collection and technical troubleshooting.
• Integrate factory automation systems, MES and industrial equipment interfaces.
• Support PLC, HMI and SCADA system integration and configuration.
• Monitor, maintain and troubleshoot field-level IoT devices and applications.
• Perform firmware updates, software upgrades and system maintenance.
• Coordinate with internal departments and overseas R&D teams on system deployment and commissioning.
