ONTOP SYSTEMS SDN. BHD. in Puchong, Selangor, is seeking an experienced Automation & Control Engineer for a full-time role. The engineer will design, develop, and implement automated control systems to optimise operations and drive innovations across projects.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Automation Engineering and 2–5 years of hands-on experience with PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and IIoT in industrial settings, along with strong problem-solving and teamwork abilities.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field.
• 2–5 years of professional experience in automation and control engineering.
• Strong PLC programming skills (ladder logic, structured text, function block).
• Hands-on experience with PLC, HMI, SCADA, and IIoT systems.
• Knowledge of electrical principles, industrial networks, and protocols (Modbus, Ethernet/IP).

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop automation and control systems using standard platforms.
• Analyze systems and feasibility for automation opportunities.
• Program and configure PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and IIoT solutions.
• Create detailed control system documentation and schematics.
• Perform commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting for reliability.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers and project managers to deliver integrated solutions.
• Provide training and support to end-users on operation and maintenance.
• Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies.
• Identify continuous improvements to existing control systems for efficiency.
