Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; tertiary qualification in sales/marketing/business administration is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist in generating and managing sales leads through various channels, including phone calls, emails, and customer enquiries
• Provide support to the sales team in preparing quotations, proposals, and sales documentation
• Maintain and update customer databases and sales records to ensure accurate and current information
• Coordinate with customers to address product enquiries and provide product information and recommendations
• Support the development and implementation of marketing campaigns, including content creation and promotional materials
• Assist in organising and coordinating sales events, product demonstrations, and customer presentations
• Monitor and report on sales performance metrics and marketing campaign effectiveness
• Liaise between the sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of initiatives
• Contribute to social media management and online marketing activities
• Perform administrative tasks such as filing, scheduling, and general office support

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised Indoor Sales and Marketing Assistant to join our team in Pasir Gudang, Johor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in supporting our sales and marketing operations. You will be instrumental in driving sales initiatives, assisting with customer engagement, and supporting the development and execution of marketing campaigns. What we're looking for

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification; a tertiary qualification in sales, marketing, business administration or related field is advantageous
• Proven experience in a sales support, sales coordination, or customer service role, ideally within the lighting, retail, or manufacturing industry
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers and internal stakeholders
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
• Sound knowledge of basic sales principles and customer relationship management practices
• A proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when required
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; additional languages are desirable
• Familiarity with CRM software or sales management systems is an advantage
• Willingness to learn and develop professional skills in sales and marketing
