Job summary

British American Tobacco DBS in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is seeking an Indirect Sourcing Executive to lead end-to-end sourcing for indirect categories across GTR & China. You will collaborate with Procurement, business stakeholders and budget holders to meet business needs, drive cost savings and value creation, and ensure compliance with procurement policies.

Ideally you have 3–5 years of sourcing experience, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to influence across functions.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in planning, organizing and delivering end-to-end sourcing activities.
• Hands-on experience in supplier negotiations and contract placement.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, governance and cost drivers.
• Fluent English with Malay or Bahasa a plus; customer-focused and collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end sourcing and procurement activities for indirect categories across GTR & China.
• Serve as key liaison between Procurement, business stakeholders and budget holders.
• Drive cost savings, value creation and spend management up to £25M annually.
• Lead sourcing projects, supplier selection and contract negotiations across markets.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, ESG requirements and local regulations.
• Supervise supplier performance and manage procurement risks.
• Collaborate with Legal, Global Category Managers and Business Leaders.
