Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an import/export coordinator to manage shipment arrangements and document preparation. You will liaise with freight forwarders, transporters, and shipping agents, coordinating with Warehouse, Sales, and Procurement to ensure timely deliveries.

This role requires basic knowledge of import/export, with 1 year in logistics preferred or fresh graduates. Proficiency in MS Word and Excel is advantageous; English and Bahasa Malaysia communication is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or Diploma in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain or related field.
• Preferably 1 year of experience in import/export, shipping or logistics.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Basic knowledge of import/export and shipping documents is an advantage.
• Familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Responsible, organised and able to work independently.
• Willing to work in Semenyih.

Responsibilities

• Handle import and export shipment arrangements.
• Prepare shipping documents such as invoice, packing list, Bill of Lading and other related documents.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, transporters and shipping agents.
• Follow up shipment status and delivery schedule.
• Coordinate with Warehouse, Sales, Procurement and other departments.
• Maintain proper filing and records for import/export documents.
• Assist with customs clearance and permit applications.
• Check freight and logistics-related invoices.
• Perform other administrative duties assigned by the superior.
