Job summary

JAC Recruitment, on behalf of a leading furniture and home furnishings retailer in Kuala Lumpur, is seeking a Trade / Logistics Executive to coordinate import/export shipments and manage logistics documentation. The role involves tracking delivery status and resolving shipment issues to ensure smooth operations.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain/Logistics with at least 3 years of logistics experience, plus strong English, MS Excel skills, and analytical

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of logistics/supply chain experience.
• Knowledge of import and export processes.
• Good English communication skills and proficiency in MS Excel.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate import/export shipments with suppliers, freight forwarders, and agents.
• Prepare and check shipping documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Track shipment status and maintain accurate logistics records.
• Work with forwarders on customs clearance and resolve shipment issues.
• Handle logistics payments, shipment costing, and communication with stakeholders.
