Job summary

WIWynn Technology Service Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an Industrial Engineer to optimize manufacturing labor and material flow, balance production lines, and design efficient workstation layouts in our Kulai facility.

You will push for safety and efficiency while supporting new product launches and continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires a degree in Industrial Engineering, 5+ years of relevant experience, and strong leadership and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant working experience preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of engineering concepts, practices, procedures, and standards.
• Knowledge of product launch management systems.
• Strong leadership, teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• LEAN Manufacturing, Kaizen and MOH knowledge is advantageous.
• Experience with ISO 9000/14k/45k and ESD S2020 is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Continuously optimizes direct and indirect manufacturing labor and in-plant material flow using industrial engineering methods.
• Designs and implements optimal station layouts to support operators.
• Drives sustainable solutions by standardizing workflows for new and existing products while prioritizing safety and efficiency.
• Supports safety performance through ergonomic design for operations and material handling.
• Leads planning for a parts-per-launch approach to new products.
• Recommends improvements in operation sequencing, equipment utilization, and related processes.
• Performs Bottleneck Analysis and Value Stream Mapping to direct strategy deployment.
• Reviews MOH reports monthly with management.
• Monitors and achieves targets set by superiors.
• Establishes SOPs and provides training per SOPs.

Job description

Continuously optimizes direct and indirect manufacturing labor and in-plant material flow through the use of industrial engineering methods including line balancing, time studies, as well as both in-plant and external material flow

Designs and implements optimal station layouts that support the operator

Drives towards sustainable solutions by developing a standard workflow for new and existing products while considering safety and efficiency

Supports safety performance of the manufacturing area through the design of ergonomic solutions for the different operations as well as for material handling

Leads plan for every part approach to new product launches

Recommends improvements and/or modifications for the sequence of operations, equipment utilization, and related matters

Directs strategy deployment by completing Bottleneck Analysis and Value Stream Mapping.

Monthly MOH report review with management.

UPPM monitoring to achieve target provided by superior.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Establish SOP work the process and provide training according to SOP.

What you'll need

• Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field required.
• Preferably with relevant working experience of > 5 years.
• Advanced knowledge of engineering concepts, practices, procedures, and engineering standards and systems
• Knowledge of product launch management systems
• Must possess strong team, leadership, and interpersonal skills to interact with and motivate a diverse group of people
• LEAN Manufacturing, Kaizen & MOH knowledge will be advantage.
• Experience on ISO 9000, ISO 14k, ISO 45k and ESD S2020 will be advantage.
