Job summary

Wiwynn Technology Service Malaysia is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to optimize manufacturing processes in Kulai. Your focus will be line balancing, time studies, and material flow across in-plant and external operations.

You will design station layouts, drive sustainable workflows, support safety through ergonomic solutions, and lead launches with part-by-part planning. Strong leadership and Lean, Kaizen experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field required.
• Preferably with relevant working experience of > 5 years.
• Advanced knowledge of engineering concepts, practices, procedures, and engineering standards and systems
• Knowledge of product launch management systems
• Must possess strong team, leadership, and interpersonal skills to interact with and motivate a diverse group of people
• LEAN Manufacturing, Kaizen & MOH knowledge will be advantage.
• Experience on ISO 9000, ISO 14k, ISO 45k and ESD S2020 will be advantage.

Responsibilities

• Optimize direct and indirect manufacturing labor and in-plant material flow using industrial engineering methods including line balancing and time studies.
• Designs and implements optimal station layouts to support the operator.
• Develops standard workflows for new and existing products with safety and efficiency.
• Supports safety performance through ergonomic solutions for operations and material handling.
• Leads the plan for every part approach to new product launches.
• Recommends improvements for operation sequences, equipment utilization and related matters.
• Directs strategy deployment by completing Bottleneck Analysis and Value Stream Mapping.
• Monthly MOH report review with management.
• UPPM monitoring to achieve targets provided by superior.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Establish SOP workflows and provide training according to SOP.
