Job summary

Ichia Technologies Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is hiring for an ICT Testing Engineer to develop, implement, and maintain ICT programs for PCB assemblies.

You will set up, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain ICT equipment and fixtures, and perform testing to identify defects in SMT PCB assemblies. The role includes analysing results, implementing CAPA, collaborating with Process, Production, Quality, and Engineering teams, and supporting NPI ICT development and process qualification.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain ICT programs for PCB assemblies to ensure quality and reliability.
• Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain ICT testing equipment, fixtures, and test systems.
• Perform ICT testing and debugging on SMT PCB assemblies to identify electrical defects, component failures, short circuits, open circuits, and other abnormalities.
• Analyse test results, identify root causes of failures, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Work with SMT Process, Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to resolve testing issues and improve production efficiency.
• Support new product introduction (NPI), including ICT test development, validation, and process qualification.
• Monitor ICT testing performance, analyse failure rates, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain ICT test documentation, including test procedures, troubleshooting records, and failure analysis reports.
• Ensure ICT testing activities comply with quality standards, engineering specs, and production requirements.
• Provide technical support and training to production technicians and operators on ICT testing procedures.
