Job summary

Eastool Industries Sdn Bhd is seeking a hands-on Test Engineer to join our PCBA manufacturing team in Malaysia. The role focuses on developing and maintaining testing procedures, conducting product tests, debugging, and improving test processes to boost yield and reliability.

You will collaborate with internal teams to support new customer projects, NPI activities, and ensure quality compliance across the manufacturing floor.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering is required.
• Working experience as a Test Engineer in electronics or PCBA manufacturing is preferred.
• Hands-on experience in product testing, troubleshooting, and debugging.
• Familiarity with electronic testing equipment, test fixtures, and automated testing systems.
• Good understanding of electronic circuits, schematics, and PCBA functionality.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Able to communicate and coordinate effectively with internal team.
• Good command of English. Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage to facilitate communication with China customer.
• Independent, proactive, responsible, and willing to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain testing procedures and test solutions for PCBA products.
• Perform product testing, troubleshooting, failure analysis, and debugging.
• Identify root causes of test failures and implement corrective actions.
• Support NPI activities, including test setup, validation, and qualification.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve technical issues and meet customer requirements.
• Provide technical support to production teams to improve product quality and testing efficiency.
• Maintain test documentation, reports, and troubleshooting records.
• Drive continuous improvement in test processes, equipment, and yield performance.
• Support quality management system requirements including ISO 13485 and IATF 16949.
