IOT Manufacturing Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Test Technician to perform setup, execution, and troubleshooting of production tests for PCBAs and IoT products. You will operate test equipment, log results in MES/databases, and support engineers during NPI, pilot builds, and mass production to ensure quality and throughput.

The role requires attention to detail, practical experience with test instruments, and adherence to SOPs and 5S standards.

Formación

• Diploma/Certificate in Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronics or equivalent hands-on experience in electronics testing/production.
• Experience operating test instruments: DMM, power supply, oscilloscope, barcode scanners.
• Familiarity with MES/traceability systems and IPC workmanship basics.
• Able to follow test procedures, read BOMs, and interpret test limits.

Responsabilidades

• Perform test setup and changeover (fixtures, programs, golden samples, calibration checks).
• Monitor UPH, cycle time, and FPY; escalate anomalies promptly.
• Ensure ESD, safety, and 5S compliance at test stations.
• Perform first-level troubleshooting on failed units.
• Log test results in MES/traceability systems and maintain data integrity.
• Support engineers on root cause validation and corrective action verification.
• Conduct daily start-up checks, verify tooling pins, probes, and cables; coordinate calibration.
• Create/maintain checklists, station logs, downtime reports; support ECN/ECO at test stations.
• Participate in kaizen and Lean initiatives to improve yield and reduce test time.
