Job summary

Accenture is seeking a seasoned AS400/IBM S/390 COBOL developer in Malaysia. You will design, develop, and configure COBOL modules and interfaces, working with SQL and DB2 in a banking/payments context.

You will participate in a team delivering quality software to a timeline while adopting standard design practices. You will collaborate with clients, continuously enhance functionality, and stay updated with the latest trends in AS400/COBOL development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology
• 5–8 years of AS400 or IBM S/390 COBOL development experience, especially in banking/payments domain
• Working knowledge of AS400 or IBM S/390, COBOL, SQL and DB2
• Awareness of JIRA and ALDON
• Involved in complete software delivery lifecycle and maintaining AS400 applications
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with clients

Job Summary

• Design, develop and configure AS400 or IBM S/390 COBOL software modules, interfaces and components

• Working knowledge of AS400 or IBM S/390, COBOL, SQL and DB2 database Awareness of JIRA and ALDON
• Involved in complete software delivery lifecycle, and maintaining AS400 applications
• Excellent communication skills and ability to handle communication at different levels and diverse population
• Experience in working closely with clients providing required services
