Job summary

Luxoft partners with a leading bank to recruit an IBM i (AS400) consultant for a new technology centre in Kuala Lumpur. You will develop and maintain banking applications on AS400 using RPG and CL, and manage DB2 data processing.

Responsibilities include configuring environments, scheduling with Control-M, deploying via ALDON, and integrating with external systems using Connect:Direct and SFTP. Strong problem solving and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with IBM i (AS400) platform and RPG/CL development.
• DB2 on AS400 and data import/export experience.
• Control-M scheduling and ALDON CMS experience.
• Experience with external integrations via Connect:Direct and SFTP.
• Knowledge of Hadoop ecosystem and SQL400 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain banking applications on AS400 using RPG and CL.
• Configure AS400 environments (Libraries, Subsystems, JobD, JobQ).
• Perform data import/export between AS400 and external systems.
• Manage job scheduling and batch processing with Control-M.
• Work with DB2 on AS400 for data processing and queries.
• Collaborate on CI/CD deployments and ETL workflows.
