Job summary

Optimist Creative Studio in Malaysia is seeking a hands-on Personal Assistant to support day-to-day operations. You’ll manage calendars, handle emails, prepare simple reports, and coordinate travel. This hybrid role is based in Simpang Pulai and pays RM2,000 per month.

You will work closely with clients and vendors, stay organised, communicate clearly in English and Bahasa Malaysia, and take on ad-hoc projects as needed to keep operations flowing smoothly.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Well-organised with ability to multitask.
• Proactive with minimal supervision.
• Discreet with confidential information.
• Reliable and responsive during agreed working hours.

Responsibilities

• Manage calendar, appointments and meeting scheduling.
• Handle emails, messages and calls, filtering what needs attention.
• Prepare documents, quotations, invoices and simple reports.
• Keep files, records and folders organised.
• Follow up with clients, vendors and partners on pending items.
• Coordinate travel arrangements and logistics when needed.
• Take notes during meetings and track action items to completion.
• Handle basic errands and personal admin tasks.
• Assist with ad-hoc projects as they come up.
