Job summary

Soprano Design (trading as Silver Street in Malaysia) is seeking an entry-level Network Operations professional to maintain production deployments, monitor performance, and assist with incident management. The role involves shift work, 24/7 NOC participation, and a hybrid setup with three days in the office.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Ideal candidates will have a Diploma or Bachelor in CS/IT/Telecom, strong analytical skills, and good English communication.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor in Computer Science/Information Technology/Telecommunication or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with networking concepts and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) is desirable.
• Some familiarity with Linux and SQL is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Monitor platform alerts and system performance.
• Provide Level 2 support by monitoring alerts and triaging them effectively.
• Ensure service restoration within SLAs and escalate major incidents to Level 3 engineers as needed.
• Manage incidents and provide high-quality support with thorough information logging for troubleshooting.
• Participate in the 24/7 NOC roster as scheduled.
• Update and maintain internal Knowledge Base to distribute knowledge internally.
