Job summary

Lam Research in Malaysia (Kulim) is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to oversee the maintenance and optimization of test fixtures and related tooling. You will develop preventive maintenance programs, maintain calibration records, and collaborate with production, logistics, and engineering teams to minimize downtime while improving efficiency.

The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, reading engineering drawings, and experience with CMMS and TPM.

Qualifications

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Experience in CMMS to identify and implement fixture-specific maintenance strategies.
Experience in TPM (Total Productive Maintenance).
Ability to read engineering drawings and schematics.
Proven stakeholder management skills with ability to influence internal/external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules for jigs and fixtures used for test processes.
Maintain calibration and maintenance records, and fixture condition.
Respond to fixture-related issues on the production floor.
Diagnose and repair damaged or worn fixtures to minimize downtime.
Track and manage inventory of jigs and fixtures.
Coordinate with production, logistics and engineering teams to ensure fixture availability.
Identify opportunities to improve fixture durability, ergonomics, and ease of maintenance.
Maintain technical documentation including maintenance logs and usage history.
Report recurring issues and propose long-term solutions.
Develop Fixture Maintenance Procedures and Work Instructions.
Train fixture technicians in fixture maintenance topics.
