Intel Malaysia in Penang is seeking a Design Automation Engineer to advance RTL2GDS flows, back-end physical design, and tool development for high-performance CPU blocks. The role involves debugging, collaborating with design teams, and interfacing with industry EDA vendors to enhance capabilities.

You will leverage scripting in Perl/Tcl/Python, work on UNIX environments, and contribute to AI-ready, low-power CPU design.

Formación

Bachelor's or Master's in Computer/Electrical/Electronic Engineering with 2+ years (Master) or 3+ years (Bachelor) of relevant experience.
2+ years with RTL2GDS tools for Synthesis/Place & Route.
2+ years in VLSI circuit/logic design and UNIX scripting.

Responsabilidades

Develop, debug, and support tool flows for backend physical design using RTL2GDS techniques.
Analyze synthesis, placement, routing, floorplanning, and signoff for timing, power, and DRC/ETC.
Debug tool issues and constraints with design teams.
Collaborate with industry EDA vendors to enhance tool capabilities for high-speed, low-power CPU design.
Create documentation and guidelines/specs for teams.
Communicate effectively with team members to drive issues to completion.
