Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer/Electrical Engineering with relevant experience
• 2+ years with RTL2GDS tools (Synthesis, Place & Route)
• 2+ years in VLSI circuit and logic design
• 2+ years scripting in Perl, Tcl or Python
• 2+ years UNIX environment and shell scripting

Responsibilities

• Develop, debug, and support back-end physical design tools, flows, and methodologies for high-performance blocks and full-chip level
• Analyze timing paths, maintain power integrity, and perform signoff checks
• Collaborate with design teams to debug tool issues and constraints
• Engage with EDA vendors to enhance tool capabilities for high-speed, low-power CPUs
• Create documentation and guidelines; communicate progress clearly to the team
• Leverage AI capabilities to improve design productivity and daily operations
