Job summary

Advanced Energy Management Limited in Malaysia seeks a Manager, Production for Hybrid Cleanroom operations. You will plan, schedule, allocate resources, coach teams, and drive continuous improvement to meet quality, delivery, and cost targets.

The role requires 8+ years in electrical/electronics manufacturing with strong leadership, Lean, and cross‑functional collaboration. SMT processes knowledge, SAP ERP familiarity, and a track record of improving OEE are preferred.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Electrical/Electronics Manufacturing and Operations Management
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing
• PC hardware and systems literacy
• Experience with high mix/mixed volume manufacturing
• Previous supervisory experience in Operations/Manufacturing/Repair
• Experience in cross-functional teams
• SMT related assembly: Reflow, Soldering, Wirebonding, Washing/Potting
• Knowledge of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) is a plus
• Familiar with SAP ERP
• Self-directed work teams experience
• Knowledge of 6 Sigma management

Responsibilities

• Develops, communicates, and executes strategic operational plans aligned with objectives
• Owns expense and capital budgets, staffing, and resource planning
• Makes operational, financial, and strategic decisions
• Sets departmental objectives and leads production teams
• Coaches, mentors, and develops employees and team leaders
• Works cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Planning, Materials, Purchasing
• Improves On-Time-Delivery and product quality
• Drives Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensures quality, safety, and regulatory compliance
• Maintains confidentiality of production information
