Job summary

Advanced Energy Industries, Inc. in Penang invites a seasoned Operations Manager to plan, coordinate, and lead manufacturing activities on site.

You will drive efficiency, cost control, and delivery performance while partnering with engineering and quality teams to optimize processes. Ideal candidates have a strong Lean background, 8+ years in electrical/electronics manufacturing, and proven supervisory experience.

Qualifications

Ability to collaborate and involve others in decision-making and problem solving.
Strong leadership.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Good command of English, both written and verbal.
Understanding of Lean Manufacturing.
Motivation and team building.
Ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively.
Familiar with AE performance appraisal processes.

Responsibilities

Develops, communicates, and executes strategic operational plans aligned with organizational objectives.
Accounts for expense and capital budgets, workforce planning, and resource prioritization.
Make operational, financial, and strategic decisions impacting performance.
Lead production teams to achieve goals and objectives monthly and yearly.
Coach and develop supervisors and line leaders to improve management skills.
Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Planning, Materials, and Purchasing to optimize products and processes.
Drive continuous improvement and Kaizen activities to improve delivery and quality.
